Quickstart

Install Leash and protect your first personal AI coding agent.

Install Desktop, choose Leash Cloud or Personal Open Source, select the agents to monitor, choose whether to use the Island, and review the built-in Features that start on automatically.

Recommended path

  1. Download Leash for macOS or Windows.
  2. Choose your personal backend.
  3. Select Codex, Claude Code, or another supported agent.
  4. Review the Island screenshot and choose Island or tray-only mode.
  5. Review the built-in Features and finish setup.
  6. Run a harmless test prompt and confirm it appears in History and, when enabled, the Island.
